Tell us a little about yourself and your favourite things.  I am a mum to three grown children and two grandchildren. I love shopping and the beach – my chill place. I also love to spoil my grandkids and send them home full of energy. 😊

Why did you become a support worker & what do you like about your work with Pathways?
I love my job (Leanne has worked as a DSW for 10 years). I enjoy helping people to be the best they can and to live as independently as they are able. I find my job rewarding, especially seeing the smile on my client’s face when they have achieved a new goal.

I like working with Pathways as we are all consulted when we need to be told something to do with our clients. We are also given the opportunity to put in ideas of our own to benefit our clients.  I like how we are kept up to date with the day to day information we need.

What have you learnt along the way? Working with the clients teaches me new things every day. How to look at the world a different way, how to adjust to the way people think. Also, that things I think are major are only little in the scheme of things and often not as important as we think they are. 

If you could do or change ‘one thing’ in the world what would it be? I would like to see our world and life back to normal and more peace among everyone. And I wouldn’t change my job for anything.❤️
